Grants and discounts

Discounted registration fees are not available in the online registration system, if you would like to apply for one of these categories, please contact the Workshop Secretariat by e-mail (Gabriella Bánfalvi <gbanfalvi@diamond-congress.hu>).

A discount of 15% from the registration fee is offered to participants in one or more of the following categories:

• three or more participants from the same institution
• participant from a same institution as one of the speakers
• former participants of previous ISWs (2014 or 2017)
• A discount from the registration fee for participants who are members to at least one of the following societies:
  • BBS (Bulgarian Biochemical Society)
  • ISCB (International Society for Computational Biology)
    The organisers of ISW2020 encourage participants to join the ISCB to take advantage of the member’s discount. This will also get you a discount for any other ISCB meetings, including the ISMB which will be in Montreal before the ISW2020.
  • MABIT (Hungarian Bioinformatics Society)
  • MBKE (Hungarian Biochemical Society)
  • MAGE (Hungarian Genetical Society)

Registration waiver and travel grants

• Registration waivers will be awarded based on submitted scientific problems that requires multi-disciplinary approach. The problems most appropriate for applying a multi-disciplinary approach problems will be assigned to teams in the workshop. Grant application can be done during your online registration.
• Travel grant can be requested from the Organizing Committee, too. Application can be done ONLINE.

Further details

• Institutional discount: 15% discount from the registration fee for participants if at least three of them are coming from the same institute/company. Can also be applied even for one participant if coming from an institute of a speaker of the workshop. Application by e-mail to the Organizers.
• Previous workshop participant discount: 15% discount from the registration fee for participants who attended the Interdisciplinary Signaling Workshops in Visegrad in 2014 or 2017. Application by e-mail to the Organizers.
• Please note that the maximum discount offered is 15% i.e. an applicant who participate in the 2014 or 2017 meetings, has a speaker from their institution at the meeting, and has 3 or more participants from their institution at the meeting, will be offered a 15% discount (not 45% i.e. the percentage discounts don’t stack). For more details about discounts see below.
• Grant applicants are kindly requested not to arrange any payments before the decision of the committee in order to avoid the higher payment. Applications for grants should be submitted before 15 March. All applicants will be notified on the decision until 24 March 2021. The payment is due on 15 April 2021 for grant applicants.

Terms and conditions of participation

By joining the workshop, all participants (speakers, organisers, and other participants) agree to follow the workshop’s Code of Conduct.

Advanced online registration is a condition of participation in the conference. During the online registration you should accept the terms and conditions of participation as well as the terms of cancellation written on this website. The registration fee/accompanying person’s registration fee includes entertainment allowances, such as catering services, reception, dinner etc. In the final invoice the amount of these services will be indicated as intermediary service. Same applies for hotel charges. See also the general terms and conditions here.

Payment

All payments should be made in Euro. All charges due to bank transfers have to be paid by the sender. In any case please bring the proof of payment with you to the registration desk.

Credit Card
For the onlinde payment VISA, EuroCard/MasterCard, American Express Card number are suitable with expiry date, card holder’s name, billing address of the cardholder and CVV code (the last three digits on the back of the credit card where the signature is – only VISA and EC/MC). Cancellation policy of registration

All the cancellations and changes must be sent to Diamond Congress Ltd. in written form. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Please send your exact bank account details in the written cancellation, unless you paid by credit card.

Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:

• 100% refund (minus an administrative fee of 50 Euro) –
  in case of cancellation received before 1 June 2021
• 50% refund –
  in case of cancellation received before 2 July 2021
• No refund –
  in case of cancellation, received after 3 July 2021
